How do I get started?
To join the Avalon Circle and all the incredible events we'll be part of this year, please complete the following steps. If you have any questions throughout the process, click on ‘Contact Us’ and send us a message.
Step 1 - Enroll in the YMCA Adventure Guides program (new dads and daughters)
1. Click the link below to visit the YMCA registration page:
2. Click "CLICK TO REGISTER FOR ADVENTURE GUIDES".
3. From the Branch drop down menu, select "Adventure Guides".
4. From the Expedition drop down menu, select "Laguna Niguel - Sunshine Expedition".
5. From the Circle drop down menu, select "Avalon Circle".
6. Click “ENROLL” and complete the registration process!
Step 2 - Get Avalon Circle Only Access
After your enrollment, you’ll receive a welcome email which includes access to the Sunshine Expedition forum hosted on the BAND app, in addition to the Avalon Circle social network also hosted on the BAND app. The BAND app is used for Avalon Circle communications and event planning.
Step 3 - Register for Events
Each event has its own registration period, usually starting 4 weeks before the event date. Avalon Circle members are notified in the BAND app when registration starts and how to register. Registration is done through the YMCA website, where you will use the same YMCA login credentials created when you enrolled in the YMCA Adventure Guides program. Use the Avalon Circle BAND app to ask any question regarding an event.
Step 4 - Build Great Memories
Ask any dad who has joined the YMCA Adventure Guides program. It's indescribable. Imagine both you and your daughter(s) building lifelong friendships and memories and the kind of experiences that make you wonder why you waited so long to sign up. Every father and daughter say the same thing:
"Why didn't we sign up sooner?"
